Project Details
The project involved construction of the new treated sanitary effluent pumping stations at the DMC, Wafra, and Kabad locations, each with 5 pump capacity, 2 service reservoirs of 40,000m3 and 170,000m3, 2 surge protection vessels of minimum 340m3 and 600m3 capacities, administration buildings, substations, generator, chlorine and laboratory buildings.
In addition to construction, the scope of works included operation and maintenance of the 3 plants for a period of 2 years after commissioning.

- 175,000 m3 of bulk earthworks
- 60,000 m3 of reinforced concrete
- 5,400 tons of structural steel works
- Distributed Control System (DCS)
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Complete electrical works, including HT/LT distribution and full redundancy
- Complete instrumentation works, including plant automation, flow meters and transmitters, etc.
Electro-mechanical
- Supply, Install and connect MSB’s, SMSB’s and MCC’s with 415V, 50H 3P 4-wire system. DB’s, Switches, UPS, electrical points. Cable trays including ducts and enclosures, earthing system, light fixtures, HT/LT Panels. Installation of 11kV/3.3kV Transformers and VFD’s, Security/Fire Alarm and Telephone System. Telemetry and Control Panels complete with all accessories and necessary builders works.
- Generator Sets of 2.25MVA.11 KV Rating (2 Nos.), 3.0 MVA, 11 KV rating (2 Nos.) and 1600 KVA.415V rating (2 Nos.) including day tanks & ancillaries.
