Project Details
The Project Contact No 5A is for the construction of the sewerage network and treated effluent transmission and distribution networks in sector 1 and 2 of Al Khoudh area. The Sewage network is designed to receive flow from parts of al khoudh area south of Sultan Qaboos highway, however this contact considers the installation of the lines required to serve the existing plots only.
There were approximately 4,520 numbers of existing plots, the majority of which are used for residential purposes, although there were many types of developments in the area.
The sewage collection networks shall be constructed in UPVC/HDPE pipes. The main trunk sewers discharge into the main collector sewer which serves the whole of the A’seeb catchment area and conveys the flow to the treatment plant. The existing sewerage networks in part of the contract shall be abandoned.
